Atrav\u00e9s da sua<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> pintura, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel estabelecer uma tipologia de lugares e<\/span><span lang=\"pt\">reconstituir a mem\u00f3ria de um povo e de uma \u00e9poca. Na sua obra,<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> fala da condi\u00e7\u00e3o comum dos seres humanos em criarem obras a<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: medium; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"pt\">partir da abertura para os outros e o espa\u00e7o que estes ocupam. O<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> espa\u00e7o da pintura \u00e9 um lugar-mundo no qual a artista convoca<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> v\u00e1rios universos e humanidades. O \u00eaxodo rural \u00e9 a desloca\u00e7\u00e3o que<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> permite a sobreviv\u00eancia.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: medium; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"pt\">A pintora conta na sua pintura como os objetos da aldeia se fundem<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> com as imagens dos jornais. O drama do mundo confunde-se com a<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> sua pr\u00f3pria hist\u00f3ria e mem\u00f3ria. \u00c9 com esta mesma preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o,<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> em manter viva a mem\u00f3ria hist\u00f3rica, que Gra\u00e7a Morais tem<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> frequentemente pintado aqueles que s\u00e3o esquecidos nos livros de<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> hist\u00f3ria, as mulheres das aldeias da sua inf\u00e2ncia, as aldeias<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> devastadas pelo \u00eaxodo e a desertifica\u00e7\u00e3o, os ritos de passagem no<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> universo fechado das aldeias de Tr\u00e1s-os-Montes.<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> Joana Morais, sua filha, realizou em 2000 o document\u00e1rio \u201cGra\u00e7a<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> Morais \u201cNa Cabe\u00e7a de uma Mulher est\u00e1 a Hist\u00f3ria de uma Aldeia\u201d<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> a partir de arquivos e de um estudo etnogr\u00e1fico.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: medium; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"pt\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: medium; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"pt\">Com base neste filme, que eleva a aldeia \u00e0 escala do mundo,<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> pretendemos responder \u00e0 quest\u00e3o \u00e9tica que suscitam as suas<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> pinturas. Discutiremos as responsabilidades, as implica\u00e7\u00f5es e o<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> poder das imagens convocadas para enfrentar uma crise dos<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: medium; color: #000000;\"><span lang=\"pt\">sentidos.<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> Com este encontro pretende-se iniciar uma reflex\u00e3o antropol\u00f3gica<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> sobre a rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre pintura e etnografia.<\/span> <span lang=\"pt\">A mesa redonda decorrer\u00e1 ao longo de um dia e contar\u00e1 com a<\/span><span lang=\"pt\">presen\u00e7a da artista pl\u00e1stica Gra\u00e7a Morais, da cineasta Joana<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> Morais, e ainda historiadores de arte, antrop\u00f3logos e investigadores<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> de outras disciplinas afins. <\/span><span lang=\"pt\">Contar\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> investigadores portugueses e franceses: Universidade de Vigo,<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal), Centro de Investiga\u00e7\u00e3o<\/span><span lang=\"pt\"> de Montanha, Instituto Polit\u00e9cnico de Bragan\u00e7a, Universidade de<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;
